Green, Polka Dots and Black Socks

OK . . . there is obviously something about these high black socks . . .
This is the 2nd time a rider with tall black has shown us a thing or two!
Anyone know where I can get a couple of pair?
Today began pretty civilized
Jeff thought if he held his hand just right . . .
he might be able to generate lift and fly away . . .
(nice new jersey Jeff!)
The morning was spectacular . . .
with lots of chatting
Unfortunately, 3 of our 8 had tight time restraints and had to leave us
Note the hand position of the rider on the right
as he tighten his shoes for . . .  something . . .
also please note the slightly off center orange helmet on Mark
. . . as if to lull Dan into a false sense of security
. . .  and the boys are off . . .
full on to the intermediate sprint / hill climb
and the winner . . .
MARK!!!
the new owner of the green and polka dot jersey!
one of my favorite things is knowing that
tomorrow we shall ride again . . .
perhaps with a different victor
It gives me a great deal of personal pleasure to watch
riders improve as the season progresses . . .
WELL DONE BOYS and GIRLS . . . WELL DONE
as Mallory may say  "another finger of rum"
I also need to thank Dan for waiting for me . . .
since in his words "that was easier than calling 911 . . ."
Tomorrow (14 July), 6:00 AM at Lakeview Covenant Church
