New blood . . . but not young blood . . .
Yup . . . another rider showed this morning at 6:00 for our daily jaunt
He showed us a thing or two about current cycling fashion . . .
knickers and a beautiful ripped wool jersey . . .
Interesting . . . I guess after riding 7,000,000+ miles
in your lifetime you figure a way to make hills and flats all downhill!
It was great to have him here after returning from 10 days in the
Southern hemisphere
(Tim says "HI!")
The boys saw this sign
. . . and decided it was indeed "play time"
By the time they were through with me (and after yesterday's effort with
"the Man Who Can Now Be Trusted"), my vision was but a blur
I also realized that with this group I was in the youngest half!
Not sure what that means . . . AARP for all?
Tomorrow: 6:00 at Superior and Lester River Rd
This Saturday is the "Velo Duluth Split Rock Tour"
Meet downtown at the Ordean Building (Michigan St side), ready to ride at 7:00
This is a fun ride up the shore, various lengths, fully supported.
Proceeds to Courage Duluth and the Union Gospel Mission
Hope to see a bunch of you there!
