Leftovers . . .

Sorry kids . . . I was simply 1) busy 2) sick 3) lazy and did not post these last weekend.
(choose one)
We'll chalk it up to the building excitement of the Brothers Rim Century Ride that so many of you missed (that it was do to my error is irrelevant of course)
So . . . here goes!

It's always great to arrive at Hugo's after two hours in the saddle.
I wonder if either Russ or Dave can eat from the hummingbird feeder?
We had four riders on a Friday . . . no, make that a perfect Friday
Russ, Dave S, Rich and Dave S.
Seems like a lot of R's, D's and S's . . .
There really is something I find particularly nice about Hugo's
Sheila and her husband are the new owners
LEFTOVERS's?  Are you kidding?  With food like this
how could there be leftovers?
Yes boys and girls . . . You really are looking
at microwaveable While Castle Jalepeno' cheeseburgers!
Shortly after eating this, Dave S made some
comment about "it being a good thing Rich is not wearing his
ventilated shorts" (the meaning is up to your imagination)
From Hugo's to Two Harbors
is "all downhill, except the uphill parts"
After a lingering stop at Patti's MOCHA MOOSE
we'll skip to Saturday, another great, although windy day
A brief detour around Stoney Point, looking for Hatcher
and his surfing buddies . . .  none to be found
(besides, Joe had never been around Stoney Point!?)
Soon brought us back to the MOCHA MOOSE
where we found . . .
horror of horrors . . .
(for those of you with poor vision, the sign says
"closed due to being ill")
And then . . . to make matters worse . . .
Jeff and I encounter at the corner of Glenwood & 43rd
But it's OK!
Sunday was the FAB Bros Rim Ride!
and now . . .
GLENWOOD FROM JEAN DULUTH to 43rd
is 100% NEWLY PAVED and OPEN!
