Hot, muggy today . . . still a happy bunch of guys!
(I will never reveal the shortcut I used to get ahead)
'cept John, who managed to make it three minutes before
bang . . . (actually Monday)
AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION WITH OUR LEADER (RUSS)
(actually no more than 3 seconds)
THE FINISH LINE HAS BEEN MOVED:
FROM NOW 'TILL ETERNITY
ALL "TOWN LINE" AND "STOP AHEAD"
SIGNS ARE THE SPRINT FINISH LINE
Our fun soon came to an untimely end . . .
Except for Randy and Rich . . . who met up with
a group of ne'er do well hooligans
(from L; Cory, Randy, Charlie, Shawn, Mike)
They looked so sharp in their kit,
we nearly mistook them for pure roadies.
Soon they showed their true direction and purpose in life
as we headed onto the Heck of the North course!
(yes, that is Nikolai. Seems he likes
to deconstruct bike wear since he desleeved his jersey and
decovered his helmet. Of course on a hot,
muggy day, I think he was on to something!)
We used every inch of shade we could find.
Good day today . . .
3 of 4 bike shops represented:
Stewarts: DAVE
Continental: NIKOLAI
Ski Hut: RANDY
Twin Ports: we need one of you out here!
MEET WEDNESDAY 6:00 AM at the CHURCH
(no gravel!)
